BSTOR is a Belgian public–private partnership bringing together Wallonia and Flanders, dedicated to the development, financing and operation of large scale battery energy storage systems.
Since 2019, BSTOR has been actively contributing to the energy transition by deploying projects capable of stabilising the electricity grid and accelerating renewable integration.
Who we are
BSTOR was created with the ambition to become the reference player for large scale battery storage in Belgium.
The company relies on a highly skilled multidisciplinary team combining technical, financial and electricity market expertise fully dedicated to battery energy storage systems.
To date, BSTOR has brought several projects to financial close, representing 160 MW and 430 MWh, with a total investment of approximately 200 MEUR.
